Joint Security Officers Arrest Illegal Ghanaian Vessel
Joint Security officers of the Government of Liberia have reported the arrest a Ghanaian vessel named M/V Sonla Bule in Marshall City, Margibi County.
According to information gather by this paper, the arrest of the vessel was made at about 9: 45Pm on March 20, 2018 by the joint security officers assigned at Marshall City.
According to them, the vessel under the Agent name Mr. Cyrus Monger, a Liberian, arrived from Ghana at the Marshall port of entry with eight crews and fourteen passengers on board without pervious notice to the joint security officers assigned there.
Mr. Monger and his eight crew members including the passengers was detained for some days and they later pleaded through a communication to the joint security officers to allow them leave from Liberia and whenever they are seen in Liberia anymore of without legal document further action from the government of Liberia shall be taken against them.
‘’Failure on the part of anyone us name listed below to adhere to said agreement , the Liberia Immigration Service is left with no alternative to take any immigration violation action against anyone of us accept with valid travelling document’’, says Mr. Anthony Baldoo, head of the crew.
